This holiday is a regular holiday in the Philippines, celebrated annually on June 12th. It is the National Day of the Philippines. Known in the Philippines as 'Araw ng Kasarinlan', or 'Day of Freedom', this day commemorates the Philippine Declaration of Independence from Spain on June 12th 1898. Home is wherever you are, Mom.

Imahe
A mother is the first teacher and the first friend of her children. She carries her child in her womb for nine months and nurtures her little one with all her heart and soul. She can decipher every gesture of her children since the time they are born. She loves her children unconditionally and guides them on the right path in life. She takes care of her children and ensures their safety in every way. We celebrate Mother's Day to thank our mothers, expressing our love and gratitude for them. Mother is the greatest gift God has given to human beings on earth. Mother is as necessary for child development as water is for a sapling. She renders love, protection, care, and nourishment. No matter what a mother does for her child, she does it as an act of selfless service, having just one goal in mind: her child’s development and well-being. The world celebrates this spirit of Motherhood on various dates that coincide with their customs. In India, we celebrate the 2nd Sunday of May as Moth...
